FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does AdoptED cost?

AdoptED is a free program thanks to our generous donors.

Each course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. However, we also have our  Activity Simulation and other supplemental activities to extend thelessons if needed.

The only thing we require is a pre and post survey for the students and teachers. The information gathered from these surveys helps us continue developing effective and engaging lessons. The data is not used outside of the Gladney Center for Adoption.

The lessons were developed by a team of adoption and education professionals using evidence based research information and it engages every learning style. The lessons are evaluated and updated every year.

A field trip to Gladney includes a tour of our Adoption Museum, an AdoptED lesson, a chance to hear from adoption caseworkers, and free lunch!

If you encounter any technical issues while using our Virtual Classroom, please reach out to AdoptED Coordinator, Elizabeth, at [email protected]. We’re available to help you resolve any access or platform related problems quickly.

Yes! We can mail or email adoption materials to any support staff in your school or district. We have materials in English and Spanish.
