How much does AdoptED cost?
AdoptED is a free program thanks to our generous donors.
How long does the program take to teach?
Each course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. However, we also have our Activity Simulation and other supplemental activities to extend thelessons if needed.
Are there any requirements for the program?
The only thing we require is a pre and post survey for the students and teachers. The information gathered from these surveys helps us continue developing effective and engaging lessons. The data is not used outside of the Gladney Center for Adoption.
How were the AdoptED lessons created?
The lessons were developed by a team of adoption and education professionals using evidence based research information and it engages every learning style. The lessons are evaluated and updated every year.
What can I expect from a Field Trip to Gladney? (Schools Local to DFW)
A field trip to Gladney includes a tour of our Adoption Museum, an AdoptED lesson, a chance to hear from adoption caseworkers, and free lunch!

Do you have materials for school counselors or school nurses?
Yes! We can mail or email adoption materials to any support staff in your school or district. We have materials in English and Spanish.
